Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Colorado, requiring 1 year of L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Full-time, 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Required certifications (all must be AHA and not expire prior to start date): BLS, ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (BSN preferred)
• Epic EMR experience
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Executes delegated medical functions and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• Any approved time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
