Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 26-week acute care rehab assignment using Epic EMR.

Details

• Acute care rehabilitation unit setting
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with flexible scheduling available
• 8-hour shifts; schedule may be negotiable
• On-call coverage required as needed
• Approximately 3–4 weekend shifts per year
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
• Active Alaska PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• COVID vaccination required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

• Responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatments, modalities, documentation, and customer service
• Typical therapy modalities and equipment utilized in the department
• Orientation includes general orientation, Planetree education, department orientation, and competency assessments within the first 90 days
• A department mentor is assigned upon start
• Business attire required
