Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active Iowa or Compact RN license and current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.

Details

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
Scheduled for weeknights with occasional weekend nights
12-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license in Iowa or a Compact state license currently in good standing
Current AHA BLS required
Current ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Strong critical thinking and sound nursing judgment skills
DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team using evidence-based practice to promote safe and optimal patient outcomes
Directs support staff in the provision of patient care
Strong empathetic listening, tact, and effective verbal communication skills are essential for this role
