Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound/Echo Technologist for a Diagnostic Imaging position at a community hospital, requiring RDCS certification and experience in both ultrasound and echocardiography.

Details

Work in the Diagnostic Imaging department of a 60-bed community hospital with approximately 80% outpatient volume
Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams
Equipment includes Philips Epiq 7 and Powerscribe reporting system
4x10-hour day shifts
After-hours and weekend call required approximately 7 days per month
No floating to other units or departments required

Requirements

RDCS certification required
Current BLS required
Experience in echocardiography required; echo and vascular combined experience preferred
Must be proficient in both ultrasound and echocardiography
2 current professional references required for consideration — 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the specialty within the last 3 years
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies across a predominantly outpatient patient population
