Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown/Telemetry Unit (CPSU) position requiring cardiac drip experience and Basic Arrhythmia certification, with floating to a COVID unit as needed.

Details

• Stepdown/Telemetry Unit (CPSU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Cardiac telemetry patient population requiring cardiac drip management
• Day shift (AM), 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• Floating to COVID unit required as needed
• Epic EMR used; prior experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required (passing score annually)
• Basic Arrhythmia exam required with a passing score of 85% or higher
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• The Clinical Nurse II provides nursing care to the general unit population with a competent, evidence-based practice approach
