Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IMC/Stepdown Unit position requiring at least one year of critical care experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Work in an Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown Unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Option for either 3x12 or 4x12 shift schedule
• Weekend availability required
• Holiday coverage required
• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
• Skills required include IV starts, lab draws/sample collecting, and titrating critical drips

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum one year of recent critical care and ICU experience required
• Intermediate care/stepdown unit experience required
• Proficiency with IV starts, lab draws, and titrating critical drips required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Provide intermediate-level nursing care to stepdown patients, including monitoring and titrating critical drips
• Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided by the facility
• Minimal time off (RTO) is available during this assignment
• Candidates residing between 31–50 miles from the facility may be subject to a reduced pay rate
