Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring prior travel OR experience, Epic proficiency, and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient surgical setting with infusion therapy responsibilities
• Patient population includes outpatient surgery and infusion patients with a 3:1 ratio
• Infusion medications include blood products, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics (no chemotherapy); some titrations required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Prior travel experience in an OR setting required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within 2 years of employment required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rates; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
• Facility trauma designations vary by location: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 trauma centers are included in this health system
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week and the Christmas/New Year's holiday period, regardless of holidays worked
• Candidates previously employed by the client within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
