Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring OASIS and HCHB experience, serving a multi-county territory in Washington state.

Details

Home health setting serving a primarily island-based territory, including Whidbey Island and Oak Harbor, with occasional work in Skagit County and Snohomish County
Patient population is primarily geriatric
Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day
Productivity expectations include 6 visits per week and a minimum of 30 points per week
13-week contract
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no weekend or on-call requirements
EMR: HCHB (experience required)
OASIS experience required
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
iPad provided for documentation purposes

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
Current BLS certification required
OASIS experience required
Proficiency with HCHB EMR required
Active PT license required if applicable
Must be comfortable traveling within a territory up to 60 miles from the hub/office
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

Therapist must be flexible with territory assignments across multiple counties
Timely documentation and consistent communication are expected
Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted
Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
