Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Michigan, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience, Post-Partum experience, and an active MI RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• 13-week contract
• Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Post-Partum experience required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
• BSN preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team and participates in resolving variances from patient care goals
• Online orientation modules must be completed onsite with a passing score, typically one week prior to start
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• COVID vaccination is mandatory for employment
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to accepting an offer; any requests after an offer is extended will require manager approval once the assignment begins
