Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for overnight shifts at a hospital-based radiology department with two-site rotating coverage, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiology/MRI department with rotating coverage between two sites: an inpatient hospital location and an outpatient imaging center in Peabody, MA
• 371-bed acute care hospital
• 36-hour per week overnight schedule: Wednesday–Friday 10:30 PM–7:00 AM and Saturday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Floating between the two MRI sites is required
• Rotating shifts required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• EMR: Epic (charting system)
• Siemens MRI scanner in use

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT (MRI) required; ARMRIT also accepted
• Current BLS certification required — AHA only; no other providers accepted at this location
• Siemens scanner experience required
• Phlebotomy skills required
• Proficiency with Outlook and strong interpersonal skills required
• Active MA license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Perform MRI scanning across two sites, including an inpatient hospital setting and an outpatient imaging center
• Time keeping system: UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of the primary Boston location are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate
• Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
