Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuclear Med/PET) with a minimum of 2 years of experience, ARRT(N) or CNMT certification, and experience at a comparable large acute care facility.

Details

Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Board certification required: ARRT(N) or CNMT (NMTCB)
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
AA or BS degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited college or university preferred
Advanced registration in PET is a plus
Experience at a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) required
Active state license required, if applicable
1 professional reference required for consideration
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

Perform in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides
Dose patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals per physician orders under Radiologist supervision
Complete quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by the hospital and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
Ensure accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and PACS
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
