Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuclear Med/PET) with a minimum of 2 years of experience, ARRT(N) or CNMT certification, and experience at a comparable large acute care facility.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Board certification required: ARRT(N) or CNMT (NMTCB)
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- AA or BS degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited college or university preferred
- Advanced registration in PET is a plus
- Experience at a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) required
- Active state license required, if applicable
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides
- Dose patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals per physician orders under Radiologist supervision
- Complete quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by the hospital and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
- Ensure accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and PACS
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
