Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/Telemetry position in Las Cruces, NM, requiring 2+ years of experience and a NM or Compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital setting on a 6th floor Ortho/Oncology/Med-Surg combination unit
• MS/Telemetry specialty unit
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Charting in Meditech EHR
• 10-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• AHA-issued certifications required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited and serves as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capabilities
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Located in Las Cruces, NM, near White Sands National Park and the Organ Mountains with abundant outdoor recreation opportunities
