Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a full-time, 13-week travel contract in an Adult Rehabilitation Services unit.

• Adult Rehab Services unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Full-time, day shift schedule working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active PT license required; Oklahoma licensure required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification from the AHA required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include interpreting physician orders, evaluating patients, and formulating individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals
• Ongoing assessment of patient responses to treatment with plan modifications as needed
• Involvement in discharge planning, including writing and instructing patients in home exercise programs
• Documentation of treatment results and patient responses in medical records
• May supervise and assist PT students during clinical rotations depending on experience level
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced; candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance
• Previous travelers or employees must have a 6-month separation period after 26 total weeks worked at this facility before being eligible for another contract
