Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR/Angio experience and proficiency in PACS, biopsies, and a wide range of special procedures.

Details

Acute care hospital interventional radiology unit
Daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
Procedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, kyphoplasty, peripheral studies, drainages, abdominal and pelvic studies, upper/lower extremity studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with day off rotating when on-call shift extends to 7:00 AM
No floating within the facility or to sister facilities
Local candidates are accepted
Block scheduling requests considered at manager's discretion
RTO requests considered at manager's discretion

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of IR/Angio experience required
Current ARRT certification and BLS required
State license required if applicable
Proficiency in PACS and contrast administration required
Experience with biopsies required
Experience with the full range of IR special procedures required, including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripheral studies, drainages, abdominal and pelvic studies, upper/lower extremity studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram
Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
