Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Las Cruces, NM, requiring 2+ years of experience and AHA certifications for a night shift, 13-week contract.

Details

• ICU setting within a 199-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• Facility is a certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capabilities

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• AHA certifications required and must be obtained prior to start
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire per NM state requirements; documentation that the check is being processed must be provided

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while awaiting fingerprint background check results, but must be supervised during that time
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
