Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at an academic medical center in Missouri, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active MO or Compact RN license.

Details

• 18-bed CVICU/CICU unit in an academic hospital setting
• High-acuity patient population with specialty equipment needs; highest acuity cases are prioritized for core staff
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Block scheduling options available: 6 days on / 8 days off, or every weekend (Friday–Sunday)
• Floating required within the ICU cluster and Med/Surg & Med/Surg Telemetry units (1:4 ratio when floating to MS/MS-Tele)
• 50% of assigned holidays required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, OR 1 year of Level 1 CTICU experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Any requested RTO must be submitted at time of application

• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but at a reduced pay rate
• Position is in a 24/7 healthcare facility; rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and availability during inclement weather are expected
