Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience.

Details

Works in the CVICU of a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Every other weekend required
Floating required within scope to ICU, TCU, and all care areas including the ED for ICU/TCU admit holds
No on-call responsibilities
Epic EMR experience required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active MO RN license or Compact RN license required
Current certifications: ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Facility is affiliated with the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and is part of the SSM Health System
Navy blue scrubs required
Complimentary onsite garage parking available
Travelers must be willing to be fit-tested for a standard mask — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided or permitted for travelers, and no exceptions will be made; travelers must be willing to shave as needed to ensure a proper mask seal
Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application; additional requests after confirmation are at the manager's discretion
