Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel contract at a high-volume emergency department in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active AHA certifications.
Details
- Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- EMR: Cerner (Ceil)
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- CPI (Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills) or MOAB De-Escalation Course online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
