Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
- High-volume OR environment handling complex, diverse, and severe trauma cases
- 13-week contract with 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- 3 shifts per week
- On-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
- Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma center OR experience required
- Proven success in high-pressure, large-scale, high-volume trauma environments
- Strong OR skills checklist ratings required
- Burn experience preferred

- Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
