Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Special Care Nursery (NICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and active GA or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract in a Level III Special Care Nursery (SCN) at a hospital setting
• SCN provides care to neonates with medical and/or surgical conditions, including infants born at the facility and select transfer cases
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week
• Equipment used includes ReCam ophthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NRP certifications (AHA-issued, must not be expired)
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU or special care nursery experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
