Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Wisconsin facility, working a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shift schedule with TNCC certification required.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Wisconsin
• Weekend-only schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, 7pm–7am
• Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a weekend
• Orientation shift hours are 10am–10pm
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• ENPC preferred; NRP encouraged
• Minimum two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5-level triage process
• Provides direct patient care across a broad age range, from pediatric to geriatric patients
• Administers IV fluids, blood products, parenteral fluids, and medications; manages emergency resuscitation protocols
• Documents patient care using medical terminology to maintain a medically and legally acceptable ED record
• Coordinates care for multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing patient flow and timely interventions
• Participates in educational experiences for pre-hospital emergency providers and other students
• Proficiency in computerized patient documentation required
