Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) position in Maine, requiring active ME or compact licensure and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Details

13-week contract in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) at a hospital setting in Maine
Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend may be required at the request of the Department Manager or Supervisor
Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday

Requirements

Active ME RN license or compact license currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
Telemetry experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Additional Information

Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
Must be a team player with flexible availability
Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility and must leave for at least 26 weeks before returning
