Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU/intermediate care experience and valid GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is an acute medicine unit (PCU/Progressive Care) in a hospital environment
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule may vary
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia or Compact state license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — all must be AHA-issued and unexpired
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU or intermediate care setting required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Permanent address must match address on Driver's License and RN license

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a 2-year break before returning to this facility as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• References are not required for initial consideration but will be needed during the compliance process
