Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU/Intermediate care experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is an Acute Medicine Unit (PCU/Intermediate Care) in a hospital environment
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patient population
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 3 shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — all must be unexpired AHA-issued
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Intermediate Care nursing experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a minimum 2-year break from the facility
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests made after an offer is extended will not be accepted
• References are not required at the time of initial consideration but will be needed during the compliance process
