Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a hospital Women's Health and OB Services unit in Marinette, WI, requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and active NRP certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Women's Health and OB Services unit in Marinette, WI
• Patient population includes labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• 8-bed unit within a 99-bed Level III Trauma Center
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• On-call required
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating limited to a 1:1 sitter role in other departments only
• Charting system: Epic

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification preferred
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, nursery, and postpartum care
• Most recent experience must be within the last year
• Skills required: OB welcome visits, NSTs, triage, labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn assessment and care
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• COVID vaccine required

Additional Information

• Performs OB welcome visits, non-stress tests (NSTs), patient triage, labor and delivery support, and postpartum and newborn assessments
• At least one orientation shift provided to learn unit flow
• Scrubs: any color accepted
• Free parking available on-site
• First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis
