Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• 13-week contract at a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Telemetry patient population requiring ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety competencies

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the same specialty required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
