Description

American Traveler is seeking a registered Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS RDCS or AE certification and experience in TEE, Stress Echo, and 3D strain imaging for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

Hospital-based Echo/Cardiac Sonography unit
5x8 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotation start times
4x10 schedules cannot be accommodated; candidates must be available for 5x8 shifts
Rotating weekends, approximately 1 in every 4
May be required to float to other affiliated facilities within the health system
Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

ARDMS RDCS or AE certification required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
Experience with GE and/or Philips echocardiography equipment required
Proficiency in 3D strain and image enhancing required
Experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE required
Epic EMR experience is mandatory
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Copy of driver's license required for consideration
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed
Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility
The facility has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
