Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a primarily outpatient rehab position requiring Epic experience and at least 1 year of PT experience in Iowa.

Details

• Primarily outpatient clinic setting, with one day per week in acute care
• Acute care caseload is limited to ortho, neuro, and safety discharge patients
• Optional opportunity to cover 1-2 acute care weekend shifts (Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM on-call)
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Orientation begins weekly every Monday

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required; work history must reflect at least 24 months of current PT experience
• Outpatient PT experience required; inpatient experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active Iowa PT license required; candidates licensed in another state may be considered if willing and able to apply for Iowa licensure (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license required
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• PT-specific skills checklist required for consideration
• Supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to cover 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Time off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday windows
• Candidates who have worked at this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• Prior travel experience preferred but not strictly required
