Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a weekend-only travel position requiring 4+ years of OR experience, trauma experience, and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

Weekend-only position in a hospital Operating Room setting
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Must be able to circulate a variety of surgical cases
Level 2 trauma experience required; Level 1 trauma experience preferred
13-week contract

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 4 years of OR experience required
Trauma experience required
Must be well-rounded and able to circulate a variety of cases
2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Additional Information

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a travel nurse
All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — RTO requests made after consideration will not be approved
