Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a screening-only mammography site in Miami Valley, OH, requiring 1 year of experience and active ARRT and Ohio licensure.

Screening-only mammography site
Inpatient and outpatient setting experience required
Preferred procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, stereotactic biopsy
Epic EMR — experience required
4x9 hour day shifts
No weekends and no on-call requirements
Holiday coverage required every other holiday

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
Must be registered in mammography
Active ARRT (R) certification required
Current BLS certification required
Active Ohio license required (license required if applicable)
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Report documenting the number of mammograms performed since October 2023 required for consideration
List of 25 mammograms performed under supervision (completed during training) required for consideration
Any breast imaging CE certificates earned since October 2022 required for consideration
Mammogram training certificate or documentation from training/diplomas required for consideration
8 initial CE hours/training in Digital Mammography required for consideration
8 initial CE hours/training in 3D DBT required for consideration
ARRT website 'Verification of Certification & Registration' document showing registry exam pass date(s) required for consideration
ARRT Procedure Log completed during mammography training required for consideration (if certification was after July 2017)

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Any RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial application — no RTO will be added after an offer is extended, and approval is at the manager's discretion
Local Radiology candidates are accepted for this position
