Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and proficiency with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and advanced hemodynamic equipment.

Details

• Hospital ICU setting with possible float to IMCU or CPU
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• EMR: Cerner/Soarian
• Required equipment proficiency includes ventilators, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA lines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, IV starts, and Swan-Ganz (SWANZ) catheters

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a valid Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Proficiency with ventilators, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA lines, balloon pumps, IV starts, and Swan-Ganz catheters required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided by the facility
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
• Candidates residing between 31–50 miles of the facility may be eligible but should be aware of a reduced travel pay rate
• Minimal to no RTO (requested time off) will be approved for this assignment
