Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a Maine or Compact RN license and a minimum of one year of ER experience.

Details

• Position is based in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Maine (ME) or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of ER/emergency department nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Full SSN required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references within the past year required; at least one must be from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge Nurse acceptable; peer references not accepted)
• No previous permanent employment at any Northern Light Health Hospital
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles south/southwest of Bangor, ME

Additional Information

• Manager interview required
• Flu vaccination is required prior to start; medical exemptions only are accepted and must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance for committee review
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Work history should include hospital name, location, number of beds, trauma level, teaching hospital status, and EMR/charting experience
