Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of RN experience and at least 1 year of travel PACU experience.
Details
- Position is in the PACU unit of a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
- 36-hour weekly schedule with day/night rotating shifts
- Up to 2 weekend shifts required per month
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of PACU travel nursing experience required
- Minimum 1 year of academic medical center experience required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Proof of MA licensure required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate
- No validated parking is available at the Boston location; public parking is available at an out-of-pocket cost, and public transportation is recommended
- Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position due to the travel PACU experience requirement
