Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent ED experience and an active AL or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (7pm–7am)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Alabama or compact RN license required — no pending or temporary licenses accepted; no hits on license (past or current)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent ED experience
- Current drivers license required for consideration
- Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration
- SSN required for consideration
- Meditech EMR experience preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rates with no radius restrictions
- All ED RNs are required to complete an on-site competency test in addition to an online pre-test — a Cardiac Exam will be administered as part of the process
- No HealthStream modules required prior to start — competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
