Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position within a hospital setting
• Procedures include cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases
• General OR skills also required
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours (06:30–15:00)
• Call requirements apply: day shift RNs take approximately 30–40 hours of call per 4-week period
• Flexibility in scheduling is required
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of combined cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include scrubbing and/or circulating in cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant OR cases
• No break period between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who still require a 30-day break)
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
