Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR experience for a 15-week travel contract with call requirements.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology department with 2 IR procedure rooms
• 2 Interventional Radiologists assigned per day
• Procedures include lower and upper extremity angiograms, atherectomy, mesenteric, dialysis fistulagram/declot, nephrostomy tubes, biliary tubes, embolizations, and port placements
• 4x9 hour day shifts, either 7:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• 1–2 call shifts per week and 1 call weekend per 4-week schedule

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• Experience with peripheral angiography required
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, annotating images, and sending images to PACS
• Call shifts are staffed with 2 techs, 1 nurse, and 1 Radiologist
• Experience with Toshiba/Canon interventional equipment is preferred
• Experience with nephrograms, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access procedures is preferred
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
