Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Statesboro, GA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and at least 2 prior completed travel assignments.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)
• One major and one minor holiday coverage may be required
• Schedule will be arranged as close/block as possible while meeting weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• At least 2 prior travel assignments successfully completed required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• US Social Security Number required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the Nursing Process
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical leadership, and delegation of patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
• Navy scrubs required
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position — a minimum of 2 completed travel assignments is required
