Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU travel position in Gadsden, AL, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and an active AL or multistate RN license.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Patient care includes ventilated patients and management of vasoactive drips
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active Alabama or Compact (multistate) RN license required; no prior NURSYS hits
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Experience with ventilated patients and vasoactive drips required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded; 2+ years of ICU experience is required
