Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT(M) certification, and BLS to work a 4x10 day shift schedule in Edwards, CO.

Details

• Breast imaging center setting specializing in mammography services
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, middle-aged, and geriatric patients
• Procedures include screening and diagnostic mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and assistance with breast ultrasound biopsy
• 4x10 hour day shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred
• ARRT with Mammography (M) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Working knowledge of MQSA and ACR breast imaging guidelines
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform breast imaging procedures following MQSA and ACR guidelines, ensuring technical accuracy and quality control
• Communicate and educate patients before, during, and after procedures to support continuity of breast health care
• Assist with department workflow management, scheduling of breast imaging appointments, and medical supply inventory
• May perform general radiographic examinations per facility protocol
• Participates in orientation of new staff and must maintain 24 CEU credits per ARRT guidelines every two years
• Promotes breast health education by assisting with organizational events
• Must be HIPAA compliant
