Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a 4x10 day shift contract.
Details
- Cardiovascular Invasive unit in an acute care hospital setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of applicable cardiovascular invasive nursing experience
- Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted); license required if applicable
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Fluency in English (speak, read, write)
- Basic computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser
Additional Information
- Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Coordinates patient care from admission to discharge and advocates for patients in collaboration with physicians and team members
- Performs bedside lab testing and associated quality control in compliance with provider orders and hospital procedures
- Demonstrates professional accountability through ongoing self-development, evidence-based practice, and clinical knowledge sharing
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO may not exceed 7 days for the duration of the contract
- Candidates who have been on assignment at any Carle Health location for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning
