Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgery (OR) position in Illinois, requiring Epic EMR experience and an IL RN license

Details

Surgical unit setting within a hospital environment
Day shift schedule: 4x10s, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Rotating call required in addition to scheduled shifts
40 hours per week, 13-week contract

Requirements

Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Associate's degree (ASN) required; BSN preferred
English proficiency required (speak, read, write)

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
Travelers who have been on continuous assignment at this health system for 1 year must either convert to permanent employment or take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system
This position requires rotating call coverage in addition to the standard day shift schedule
