Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a therapy services position at an outpatient rehab setting, requiring Epic EMR experience and an IL OT license.

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM day shift
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts

• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Active OT license for Illinois required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Evaluate and treat patients across all age groups, determining OT diagnoses and developing individualized plans of care
• Design, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and available evidence
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other healthcare providers using effective teaching methods
• Supervise and monitor support personnel in accordance with legal and ethical standards
• Document evaluations, plans of care, treatment modifications, and patient responses per department policy
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and students
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning
