Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 26-week travel contract providing imaging support in an OR-based vascular IR setting, requiring ARRT certification and both scrub and circulate experience.
Details
- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit providing imaging support in the OR for vascular IR procedures
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotating call every 4th week
- May float within the facility in accordance with clinical experience
Requirements
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- Virginia state license required; candidates with licensure in another state may be considered with VA license pending (estimated 8-week processing time for temp license)
- License required if applicable
- Both scrub and circulate experience required for OR-based procedures
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract period
- Epic EMR experience preferred for float pool and inpatient unit assignments
