Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide imaging support in an OR-based vascular IR setting, with BLS and ARRT required.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit providing imaging support in the OR for vascular IR procedures
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Rotating call every 4th week
• 26-week contract
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• VA license required; candidates with licensure in another state may be considered with VA license pending (estimated processing time of 8 weeks; temporary license eligibility may apply)
• Experience with both circulating and scrubbing in the OR required
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform imaging support for vascular interventional radiology procedures in an OR environment
• Candidates may be floated in accordance with their clinical experience per facility policy
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week period of the contract
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Any planned time off between signing and the start date should be communicated in advance to ensure an appropriate start date can be arranged
