Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week travel contract at an outpatient clinic in Bryan, TX.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in general orthopedics, including total joint replacements and rotator cuff repairs
• Full-time schedule of 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience, preferably in outpatient orthopedics
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; DPT preferred
• Active TX PT license required (compact license accepted); license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Proficiency with standard rehabilitation equipment and multiple computer systems
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Date of birth and SSN required for consideration
• Flu shot required; no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, patient and family education, and discharge planning
• Clinical documentation, accurate charge entry, and understanding of reimbursement practices are expected
• Role includes supervision of support staff, students, and volunteers
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates who have previously worked as a permanent employee at any facility in this health system may have restricted eligibility
