Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active LA or compact RN license.

Details

Hospital ICU setting with an average daily census of 44 patients
Patient ratio of 1:2
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
Every other weekend coverage required

Requirements

Active LA or compact RN license currently in hand
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all must be AHA-issued)
Preferred certification: TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

Royal blue scrubs required
Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
Upon accepting an assignment, nurses may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility or serve on a relief team during emergency events
