Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring circulation experience, on-call availability, and an active NJ or Compact RN license.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Cath Lab unit within a cardiology department
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required 2 out of every 4 weeks: weeknights 7:30 PM–7:00 AM and 24-hour on-call on weekends
• Floating within cardiology is expected, with rare float to a sister facility
• Equipment used includes Merge Hemodynamics, ACIST, IABP, temporary pacers, Philips Azurion, IVUS, EKOS, CSI, and thrombectomy devices
• Charting is done in Epic

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required; 3 years preferred (candidates with strong 2-year backgrounds from high-volume labs will be considered)
• Circulation experience required
• Scrub experience preferred

• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
