Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical (Ortho/Joint) night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active MD or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital Medical-Surgical unit with an Orthopedics/Joint specialty focus
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Floating required within specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within scope of practice
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Maryland (MD) or a compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required, with strong Med/Surg and Ortho/Joint background
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have strong Med/Surg and Ortho/Joint experience
- Any time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
