Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Step-Down position in California, requiring Epic proficiency and neuro ICU experience for a night shift contract.

Details

• 19-bed mixed ICU setting with specialties including neuro, medical, trauma, vascular, and cardiothoracic (CT)
• Step-down unit (PMCU) operates at a 3:1 patient ratio
• Float required between the ICU and PMCU step-down unit as needed
• Night shift: 1900–0730
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Epic experience within the last year is required (must pass Epic pre-assessment)
• Neuro ICU experience required, including management of EBD drains
• TNCC preferred for trauma experience
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Open heart procedures are not performed in this unit
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
