Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring CVICU experience and NextStage CVVH machine proficiency, with both day and night shift availability.

Details

CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) setting within a hospital environment
Day shifts run 7:00–19:30 and night shifts run 19:00–7:30, with 12-hour shifts scheduled 3 days per week
Both day and night shift options available
Every other weekend required
Some holiday coverage required
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
CVICU experience required
Hands-on experience with the NextStage CVVH machine required
Basic arrhythmia/telemetry experience required
Must pass a telemetry test prior to start
Cardiothoracic surgery and/or acuity adaptable unit experience preferred

Additional Information

Candidates will be required to pass a telemetry competency test before being cleared to begin the assignment
First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — prior travel or strong acute care experience is recommended
